Diana Damrau is currently one of the most important sopranos on stage, she is also a favorite of the audience at the Teatro Real for her memorable performances in this theatre. She returns to Madrid on May 27 as part of the series "Voces del Real" (Voices at the Teatro Real). Damrau is a dynamic, expressive and most gifted singer. Her beautiful voice will be accompanied by the chorus and orchestra of the Teatro Real and conductor Franceso Ivan Ciampa. The recital, Meyerbeer and his time, will include this German composer as well as music by Gioacchino Rossini, Richard Wagner, and others.
